Section 9.141

Bill of Rights Day established.
9.141. December fifteenth is hereby established as the "Bill of
Rights Day" in Missouri to provide an opportunity for the people of
Missouri to reflect upon the meaning, importance and uniqueness of this
document. The people of the state, offices of government, and all civic
organizations in the state are requested to devote a part of the day to the
bill of rights. The bill of rights should be read in public schools and
the day should be remembered with appropriate exercises. The bill of
rights should be read in all courtrooms that meet or convene and the bill
of rights shall be read in both chambers of the general assembly on the
first legislative day after bill of rights day.
